Your safety and comfort are important to us throughout the Lapland Aurora World experience.

Lapland Aurora World takes place in a natural Arctic forest environment, and our hosts will be with you throughout the journey. The routes and activities are designed to be easy to follow, but winter conditions such as snow, ice, darkness and cold are a natural part of experiencing Lapland.

By following your host's guidance and the simple instructions below, you can relax and enjoy your time in the Arctic wilderness.

Follow your host's guidance
Our hosts are there to guide you throughout the experience. Please follow their instructions when moving through the forest, meeting the reindeer, gathering around the fire and taking part in activities.

Stay with the group
Please remain with your group and follow the designated routes. This allows everyone to move through the experience comfortably and enjoy each part of the journey together.

Move comfortably through the forest
Snow and winter conditions can make forest paths uneven or slippery. Walk at a comfortable pace, watch your footing and take your time, particularly on slopes and uneven terrain.

Keep your personal lantern with you
Each guest receives a personal lantern for the journey through the Arctic forest. It lights your way along the trails and helps the group move together through the darkness.

Please keep your lantern with you throughout the experience and follow your host's instructions on when to use it.

Dress for Arctic conditions
Warm winter clothing and appropriate footwear are essential. Temperatures can fall below –20°C, so dressing properly makes a significant difference to your comfort.

Stay warm and comfortable
Everyone experiences the Arctic cold differently. If you begin to feel unusually cold, uncomfortable or unwell at any point, please let your host know. We want you to be able to enjoy the experience comfortably from beginning to end.

Respect the reindeer
Please approach and feed the reindeer only when instructed by your host. Move calmly, avoid sudden movements and give the animals plenty of space.

Around the fire
Fire is part of the atmosphere of Lapland Aurora World. Please keep a comfortable distance from open flames and follow your host's guidance while gathering around the fire.

Enjoy the sledding hill safely
Please use only the designated sledding area and follow your host's instructions. Make sure the hill and landing area are clear before starting, ride seated and facing forward, and move away from the landing area after your ride.

Children must always be supervised by an adult while sledding.

Children must remain under adult supervision
Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping children close and supervising them throughout the experience, particularly when moving through the forest and taking part in activities.

If you have mobility limitations or other requirements that may affect your participation, please contact us before your visit so we can discuss your individual needs.

If you feel unwell or need assistance at any point during the experience, simply let your host know.

If you are ever unsure about anything during the experience, simply ask your host. We are there to make sure you can relax, feel comfortable and enjoy the Arctic night.
